2019, It was a busy year for Malaga City with millions visited the City and the near by attractions. Stats show both business and leisure visitors coming to Malaga increasing every year. According to National Statistics Institute Malaga received 871,998 visitors in 2019 which is 3 % increase from the previous year.These visitors helped to fill the accommodations in Malaga with hotel occupancy rate was 79%.This capital city of Costa del Sol is one of the fastest growing destinations in Spain and tourism council hopes the numbers of the previous year visitors will be overtaken this year.
